The New Woman (Ethan's, that is)

So, I have to apologize to any of you who are not hip on the whole "tween" scene and whose nerves were grated by the sound of Hannah Montana's latest song streaming from our blog. You see, there's a new woman in our house, and her name is Miley Cyrus (a.k.a. Hannah Montana.)

It seems now that Ethan's turned six he's decided that he needs to grow up a little more that he should, and (although he won't admit it) I'm afraid he has his first "crush" on none other than Hannah Montana. He talks about her all the time, sings her songs constantly, and is always saying things like, "Hannah Montana says this..." and giggles. If you ask him about it he'll blush and run from the room, although he did admit to me the other day that he likes her better with blonde hair (Hannah) than brown hair (Miley).

So when you hear the Hannah Montana song playing, and it kind of hurts your ears a bit, just think of Ethan and his first crush and his cute little request of me to add her song to our family blog. (Just don't ask him about it or he'll get too embarassed!)

Honestly, I hate to admit it, but I like Hannah Montana. Really I like her tv show because of her friend Lilly. She just cracks me up! So Ethan isn't alone in his crush. If questioned, I too turn red and run from the room.

The Brann's

I'm totally laughing. I can just picture him giggling about it. I made the mistake of having Chad read this post, so I'm sure he'll embarras him next time we see you guys!!!

That is so cute! It's hard to picture shy little Ethan being crazy about a girl, already. That's one he'll hear about his whole life for sure. :)

Ok, so after reading this blog I went down to check out Ethan's pick of Hannah Montana and William Joseph's Within was playing. Oh my, what an amazing song! Kevin loves piano music and he would just love it. How did you know about this fabulous pianist?!

Charlotte: So glad you got to hear the William Joseph song instead of Hannah Montana! :) (Actually I'm with Amy and I don't really think it's that bad, but Chad just rolls his eyes!) William Joseph played at a banquet we had at work and it was AMAZING. And he's such a nice guy to boot (the two don't always go together.) We have the CD--if you guys would like to borrow it sometime just let us know!

Can we say cute! That is the funniest thing I've heard all week! Little Ethan is growing up! Maybe if he figures out how to get on TV one day, they could be friends ;)
